- Quintain’s entire operational Build to Rent (BtR) portfolio at Wembley Park and office building, The Hive, have been awarded a WiredScore Platinum certification
-
Quintain is the first to have achieved a Platinum WiredScore certification across an entire residential portfolio
- The Platinum certifications awarded to Quintain’s BtR buildings make up 22 out of just 45 Platinum certified residential buildings worldwide, making Quintain a leader in this field
Quintain has been awarded a Platinum certification from globally recognised accreditation scheme, WiredScore, for all its completed Build to Rent assets in Wembley Park, the BtR specialist’s flagship neighbourhood in north-west London. With over 3,250 homes for rent at Wembley Park through award-winning operator Quintain Living, the Platinum certified BtR portfolio demonstrates Quintain’s commitment to providing world-class digital connectivity for its residents.
A Platinum certification has also been awarded to The Hive office building on Wembley Park Boulevard. The certification demonstrates best-in-class connectivity for occupiers including CASIO and Network Homes.
Jim Eaton-Terry, Chief Technology Officer at Quintain, said: “This achievement underlines the importance of designing connectivity into every project from the very beginning, and reflects how high quality, seamless network access underpins every aspect of a great development in which to live and work.”
Danielle Bayless, Chief Operating Officer at Quintain Living, said: “As we celebrate being over 99% leased and 98% occupied across our entire BtR portfolio, these Platinum certifications help us showcase that we are creating a community of the future at Wembley Park, offering our residents homes that will stand the test of time. The fact that we now have the largest global share of WiredScore Platinum certifications is a bonus."
Following success in the US, WiredScore launched in the UK in 2015 after winning the Greater London Authority’s tender to be the official Mayor of London digital connectivity rating scheme. WiredScore recently launched its global digital connectivity rating system, WiredScore Home, to better inform residents about the level of connectivity they can expect in their homes.
Tom McClellan, Country Director, UK & Ireland and Growth Markets, WiredScore, added: “In certifying its entire BtR portfolio and The Hive office building, Quintain is making a very clear commitment to best-in-class connectivity across its assets. The team have recognised that the way people are living, socialising and working in their homes and office space has become underpinned by a tech-first approach and we are proud that they have chosen WiredScore to demonstrate this commitment to current and prospective residents and occupiers.”
Quintain’s next Build to Rent project at Wembley Park, Repton Gardens, is due to launch in December, on track to be the next operational development at the site to achieve a Platinum certification.
